3rd / 4th ESA: A BIOGRAPHY. CHANO PIÑEIRO

Chano Piñeiro
 
His real name was Luciano Manuel Piñeiro Martinez. He was born in Forcarey, 
Pontevedra. 
He was born in 1954 and he lived in Forcarey for 10 years. He attended 
primary school there. Then he moved to Marin and later to Santiago de 
Compostela. He studied Pharmacy there and he met his wife there, too. She gave him his first camera Super 8. And he started to film scenes from popular festivals in the area. He became a film director. 
 
In 1984 he recorded his first 35mm short, Mamasunción, the portrait of an old woman patiently waiting for the letter from her son. With this film he won numerous awards in Australia, Canada, Sweden and Germany as well as in 
Bilbao.
In 1989, he made his first long film, Sempre Xonxa, the first film production filmed entirely in Galician and shot entirely in Galicia.
 
He died in Vigo when he was 40 years old , he suffered from Crohn's disease, which undermined his health and his gaunt appearance. He died in 1995. 
He became a pioneer as well as a symbol of the new generation of Galician 
film industry.

4th ESA: Describing Vigo. PORTFOLIO REFLECTION / Reflexión Portfolio

O Obxectivo desta actividade é fomentar a autonomía d@s alumn@s na expresión escrita.

1.     Partes do PEL a traballar: Biografía, Pasaporte e Dossier
2.     Actividade
1.     facer unha breve gravación dunha parte da cidade. 
2.     facer unha mini pelicula coas gravacións - tres mini películas
3.     describir Vigo a partir das imaxes: borrador, corrección de erros, melloras varias do resultado, entrega do traballo definitivo. 
4.     publicación dos textos (escritos/ orais)
3.     Obxectivo: os alumn@s aprenden a valorar os seus puntos fortes e a mellorar os seus puntos débiles mediante exercicios, diccionarios etc.
4.     Impresos a encher: 
1.     Na biografía APRENDER A APRENDER.
      Escribo con palabras e frases sinxelas; busco no diccionario, en Internet ou pregunto aos meus compañeiros ou profesora cando non sei,
     Escribo textos breves de dous ou tres paragrafos , con frases curtas e enlazadas con conectores como "and" "but" "because". Non domino toda a ortografía nin estructuras máis complexas. 
     ¿Como corrixo os meus erros?

Describing places

First Step


In groups you have to discuss and reach an agreement.
  1. Which clipping you are going to use
  2. About what you are going to write
  3. What is the role of each member of the group
  4. How  you are going to present the description


Second Step 
Your task
You have to hand in a description of Vigo according to the images you see. You can add extra information about the city but it must be related to the images.
You can also hand in your drafts, but the final work should be typed.
Extra marks will be given to your group if you also present it orally.

MONDAY 25TH MAY
